Help with Ecliptica's birth charts, forecasts, purchases, learning path, private journal, and encrypted profile backups.
Contact support
Email Ecliptica support. Include your app version from Settings, iPhone model, iOS version, what you expected, and what happened. A screenshot can help. Omit precise birth details and private journal text unless they are necessary.
Getting started
Explore the fictional sample or choose Create my chart. Select a birthplace from the offline catalog and choose Known, Approximate, or Unknown for the birth time. Tap a planet to highlight its connections, then open the reading beneath the atlas. Why this reading appears explains the chart basis behind a result.
Why are my Rising sign or houses missing?
Ecliptica omits angles and houses when a birth time is approximate or unknown. For unknown times, local noon is only a reference for drawing the chart. Samples across the local date identify sign changes, and a sign reading is withheld if the sampled range crosses signs. Older approximate profiles can be recalculated using Chart options, then Edit birth details.
Core Unlock and previous purchases
Core Unlock is the existing one-time purchase, previously called Ecliptica Complete. It permanently includes unlimited saved charts, daily and weekly personal forecasts, Connections, and daily and weekly connection forecasts. Existing purchasers keep those features. Use Settings, then Restore purchases with the same Apple Account. Purchasing and restoration require a connection to Apple.
One saved chart, natal interpretations, the Current Moon experience, PDF export, nine learning lessons, the glossary, and the private journal are free without a time limit. This version has no subscription.
Journal, backups, and deletion
The Learn tab contains lessons and your journal. Reflections and lesson progress are stored using iOS file protection. Profile backups in Settings contain charts only. Journal export creates readable text at a destination you choose. Review it before sharing.
Swipe a journal entry to delete it. Settings offers separate controls to reset the local 30-day reading history and to erase the journal and lesson progress. Erasing learning data turns off the evening reflection reminder. Deleting profiles leaves the journal available. Copies exported to other apps must be deleted separately. Apple device backups follow your device settings.
Daily reading personalization
Daily readings show whether a theme is Building, At a peak, Easing, or Ongoing. A protected 30-day history reduces repeated wording and rotates supporting themes without hiding the strongest current pattern. Settings includes Balanced, Relationships, Work and direction, Emotional well-being, and Personal growth focuses. A focus only breaks close ties.
Notifications and animation
Forecast notifications and the 8 p.m. local reflection reminder are optional. You can turn each off. Lock-screen messages contain no birth details or journal text. Settings lets you turn animations off, and the app follows iPhone Reduce Motion. The rest of the app works if notifications are declined.
Privacy and responsible use
Calculations run on the iPhone without an account or chart server. Atlas artwork is decorative; calculated overlays show planetary positions. Interpretations are symbolic prompts for reflection, not scientific predictions or professional advice. Read the complete privacy policy.
