Privacy policy

Scope

This policy explains how Morse Coach, the iPhone app published by SEM LLC, handles information. It applies only to the app.

Information we collect

None. Morse Coach has no account system, advertising, analytics, or tracking. SEM LLC does not operate an app server that receives your identity, practice history, progress, settings, camera frames, or purchase details.

Information stored on your device

Morse Coach stores the information it needs to coach you locally on your iPhone. This can include course progress, per-character accuracy and response timing, confused character pairs, sending results, practice sessions, streaks, XP, badges, lesson placement, and app settings.

A small progress summary may be shared with the Morse Coach home-screen widget through Apple's app-group storage on the same device. It is not sent to SEM LLC or another server.

You can reset progress from the app's settings. Deleting the app removes its local app data, subject to the normal behavior of your device and backups.

Network activity and purchases

Morse Coach makes no direct network calls. Lessons, audio synthesis, haptics, progress tracking, and coaching run on your iPhone.

The optional Lifetime Unlock and purchase restoration are handled by Apple through StoreKit. SEM LLC does not receive or store your payment-card information. Apple's services may provide the app with purchase status so paid features can be unlocked or restored.

Camera and light reader

The camera is used only when you choose the Light reader practice mode. Morse Coach samples the brightness of the center of each video frame to decode a blinking Morse signal.

Camera frames are processed in memory. Images and video are never saved, transmitted, or shared. If you deny camera permission, the Light reader will be unavailable; the rest of the app continues to work.

Notifications

Daily streak reminders are optional and local only. When enabled, iOS schedules them on your device. Morse Coach does not use a push-notification server, and reminder activity is not sent to SEM LLC.

Third parties, advertising, and tracking

Morse Coach contains no third-party software development kits, advertising frameworks, analytics services, or tracking technology. Its Apple privacy manifest declares tracking disabled and no collected data types.

Apple's own StoreKit and operating-system services are governed by Apple's terms and privacy practices.

Children

Morse Coach does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above and publish the revised version at this URL.
